Mecer 3kva 24Volt solar inverter
The Mecer 3kva 24v inverter is a very reliable. It is used to power many of your home appliances. Using a suitable solar battery, the inverter can power your Home entertainment, fridge, TV, water booster pump, borehole, laptops, lighting, charging phones as well as your WiFi. The Mecer 3kva has a built in solar charge controller which means it can charge your solar batteries from your solar panels. In addition to a solar charge controller, the 3kva Mecer can also charge your solar batteries from Zesa or from a standby generator. it has an inbuilt change over switch and therefore when Zesa switches off, the 3kva inverter can automatically power all appliances connected to it taking the power from the batteries or from the sun.
the Mecer 3kva 24v inverter inverter comes with 2 models. the only difference of the inverters is the sizes of their solar charge controllers. the first model has a 1500Watt MPPT charge controller and the second model has a 600W MPPT charge controller. this means that with the first the 1500w MPPT model you can put 1500Watts of Solar panels. with the second model you can only put up to 600Watts of solar panels.

we recommend you connect it with 2 by 12volt solar batteries or at least one 24volt lithium iron battery. do not exceed the limits of the solar panels stated on the solar charge controller. we recommend that you put a maximum of 6 300watt solar panels for the model with a 1500watt MPPT. connect only 2 300watt solar panels for the model with a 600watt MPPT charge controller.
